New Year, New Challenges

Can you believe that we are halfway through our school year? Seems impossible. As we move into the second half of Kindergarten I will be introducing new assignments that will encourage our growth towards first grade. KB will begin to receive weekly spelling words. Three new words will be introduced each week. They will be three letter words, or sight words from our Word Box. Monday we will write each word three times each, Wednesday we will draft sentences, and Friday we will have a Spelling test. I will send their spelling words home every Monday. I suggest reviewing these words with your child daily.
